Spring Hunt Test

Our spring hunt test was held May 26-28, 2007 at Fort Vasquez. This was our first year at this new property located approximately seven miles from Fort Lupton. The grounds were great and the weather cooperated by not raining. 

We had a total of 191 entries over the 3-day test. Our judges for Master were John Tissot and Keith Winch: 39 master dogs (2 scratches) competed for two days and passing 15 dogs. Junior also ran on Saturday with a split Junior: A judges Leslie Dickerson and Vic Rompa with 25 entries, 1 scratch and 21 passes; B judges John and Dee Thibodeaux with 25 entries and 19 passes. We ran the first Senior on Sunday, May 27th with judges Leslie Dickerson and Larry Meagher: 25 entries and 15 passes. Monday May 28th we hosted another Senior with judges Sandy Whicker and Gloria Mundell: 29 entries and 11 passes. And we had a second Junior: A judges Larry Meagher and Rosann Poltrone Pease with 26 entries and 20 passes; B judges Shirley Christain and James Giacalone with 25 entries and 14 passes.
